3rd Austrian Prehistoric Tournament

A prehistoric tournament will take place for the first time at the Wieslerhof in the idyllic styrian village of Puch at the beginning of August. The perfect infrastructure of the professional bow maker Gerhard Wiesler will provide you with three fantastic days with bow and spearthrower.

Friday, August 9: Arrival, ISAC by floodlight in the evening, dinner.

 

Saturday, August 10th: Breakfast. In the morning individual roving on the private parcours (150 targets!) with bow or spearthrower possible. Lunch snack. Bow tournament in the afternoon, big dinner.

 

Sunday, August 11: Breakfast. Spear throwing tournament in the morning, ISAC, lunch. In the afternoon individual roving (150 targets!) with bow or spearthrower possible on the private parcours.

 

I would like to spoil you with full catering for the three days, my son the cook will serve you delicious styrian food.

 

Prices: Only one tournament € 10,-, combination € 15,-, including dinner on Saturday.

 

The all-inclusive, nothing-to-worry package with tournament and styrian delicacies from Friday to Sunday, 2 x breakfast, a hot meal on Saturday and Sunday, drinks and snacks € 35,-.

 

 Camping on the grounds free of charge with tent or camper/caravan.

 

Archery Tournament 10th of August

Saturday afternoon the tournament kicks off with the bow and arrow. Thirty targets will be shot at with three rounds of ten. 

 

One arrow per target, points one to five per targetface. Distances 8 - 26 meters.

 

Attention!  Your equipment must not have metal or plastic anywhere on the bow, bowstring and arrows to conform to the rules of the prehistoric championship.

 

Atlatl Tournament 11th of August

Sunday morning the Atlatl tournament will be the second part of the prehistoric championship. Again thirty spears will be thrown, same course as on Saturday.

 

One spear per target, points one to five per targetface. Distances 8 - 26 meters.

 

Attention!  Your equipment must not have metal or plastic anywhere on the spearthrower and spears to conform to the rules of the prehistoric championship.
